Die 43. Rencontres d'Arles 2012
28.06.2012

Roundtable. This year the photographers of the legendary cooperative are holding their annual general meeting in Arles for the first time. It is an opportunity to question them about the relevance of an agency when the press market has collapsed: does the founding French-American alliance still make sense today?
In other words, is there a French school within Magnum Photos? It will also be an opportunity to present the decisions made during the AGM and to be introduced to the new photographers to have been accepted into the group.
With Giorgio Psacharopulo, CEO Magnum Photos, Lorenza Bravetta, Head of Continental Europe, Abbas, vice-president of the Magnum Photos Foundation, France, Susan Meiselas, vice-president of the Magnum Photos Foundation, USA, and the vice-presidents of the regional offices elected during Magnum Photos' annual general meeting.
